A very poetic picture. The tonal range from the dark foreground trees to the hazy-bright background works well, as does the vertical-horizontal contrast. The viewer does wonder why all these trees have been cut but the photo itself gives no clues. More good work.

The tonal range was achieved using Ansel Adams Zone System. I assume the trees was cutted to build a house or something, but it is sad anyway.
The photo is from Bariloche, in the argentinian Patagonia.
